THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

Ranchi, Jan 15: Two sisters from Hindpiri mysteriously went missing on January 11. Following the directions of SSP Chandan Sinha, a special police team was formed and, with the help of the Karnataka police, the two sisters were found near the Karnataka-Kerala border.

Elopement unveiled, no abduction

It was revealed that the sisters had gone with their boyfriends. Both girls are safe and are being brought back to Ranchi by the police team.

The police are expected to hold a press conference on Thursday to provide further details about the incident.

According to sources, the two sisters had eloped from Ranchi with their boyfriends after making a complete plan. The police have detained more than half a dozen young men in connection with the case.

Sources indicate that the audio circulating, which claimed an abduction, was completely fake. The two girls were not kidnapped; instead, they had run away with their respective boyfriends with the intention of getting married.

In connection with the case, the police have arrested both boyfriends of the girls, as well as a young man involved in the incident of eloping.

According to the information, the girls had married their boyfriends two years ago and had run away from home as part of a well-thought-out strategy.

The case of the girls’ disappearance had gained significant attention in Ranchi, while the police repeatedly reassured the public that they had found clues about the girls’ whereabouts and that they would be found soon.

On Tuesday, Jharkhand government minister Irfan Ansari also visited the girls’ families.

The two girls from Hindpiri had been missing since the evening of January 11. Their family members had expressed concerns about abduction and filed an FIR at the Hindpiri police station. A case was registered against unknown auto drivers.
