Jharkhand News: Ranjit Singh Dang elected new president of Rotary Club

Dhanbad, July 15: Ranjit Singh Dang and Dr Amir Parwez were selected as the new president and the secretary of Rotary Club Dhanbad Midtown respectively for the 2024-25 tenure at the conference held at Dhanbad Club on the previous night.

Ranjit Singh has replaced the past president of Rotary Club Dhanbad Midtown Rahul Goel while Dr Amir Perwez took over the charge from the past secretary.

On the occasion, Past District Governor Pratim Banerjee was the chief guest and another Past District Governor Ranjan Gandotra was the guest of honour.

Dang being given the charge of president

Both Past Governors of the district in the ceremony highly appreciated the selection of president and secretary and expressed hope that the new team would play a major role in helping needy people in society. They also suggested new ideas of welfare schemes for office bearers.

New president Ranjit Singh Dang and secretary Dr Amir Parwez assured the Rotarians that the new team will leave no stone unturned in executing welfare schemes for the society.

In the ceremony, Dr Major Chandan, Dr Pranay Kumar Purbey, Dr Rakeshinder Singh, Ranjesh  Parkeria and other  Rotarians of other Clubs were also present.
