Jamshedpur, Dec 28: Restrictions on the movement of all types of vehicles will be imposed on the overbridge of Tatanagar railway station from 9 pm of Saturday to 8 am of Sunday due to road repairing work.
The Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway has planned repair work on the stretch from Sankata Singh Petrol Pump to Star Talkies during this period.
For a long time, passengers and those driving were facing inconvenience due to potholes on the overbridge road. After repeated complaints by local residents and passengers, the Railways took the issue seriously and decided to carry out the repair work. There was also a threat of accidents due to the potholes.

The co-operation of Bagbera police will be taken to maintain the smooth traffic system during the repair work. Railways has suggested passengers and drivers to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience.
Railways appealed to the people to co-operate in the repair work and not to use the overbridge during the repairing work. This step has been taken to ensure the safety and convenience of passengers.
The repair work will start at 9 pm on Saturday night and will be completed by 8 am on Sunday. During this period, the use of alternative routes can be done.
This effort of South Eastern Railways and local administration is an important step towards ensuring public safety and convenient travel.
