Ranchi, Dec 20: Dr Thakur Sidhant Arjun of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, has been selected for the prestigious IMA MSN National Chairman’s Appreciation Award 2025.
The award will be conferred on Dr Arjun during the Medical Students Network (MSN) National Conference (NATCON 25), scheduled to be held at Club 07 Forum in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on December 27.

Medical Students Network (MSN) Jharkhand Chairman Dr Sushil Kumar shared the information, stating that MSN Standing Committee National Chairman Dr Shivkumar Uttre and National Secretary Dr Mitesh C. Shah formally informed the state body about the selection.
According to MSN national office-bearers, Dr Thakur Sidhant Arjun has been chosen for the honour in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the medical fraternity.
Dr Arjun currently serves as the Convener of the Jharkhand chapter of the IMA Medical Students Network (MSN). Over the past six months, he has played a key role in revitalising the organisation across all government and private medical colleges in the state, including AIIMS Deoghar. He has also actively assisted MBBS students in resolving academic and administrative issues at the local level.
Dr Sushil Kumar further said that two doctors from Jharkhand have been selected for the National Chairman’s Appreciation Award this year.

Earlier, the MSN national body had announced the selection of Dr Raghvendra Kumar of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH), Jamshedpur, for his exceptional work as General Secretary of the Jharkhand unit of the Junior Doctors Network (JDN).
Office-bearers of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), JDN, MSN, JDA (RIMS), and other medical bodies congratulated Dr Sidhant Arjun, expressing hope that the recognition would inspire more young doctors in Jharkhand to work for the welfare of the medical fraternity.
