Dhanbad, April 11: RK Singh and JK Saw became new secretaries of East Central Railway Karmchari Union (ECRKU) Dhanbad Branch-2 and Dhanbad Line Branch, respectively.
Giving this information, ECRKU’s Dhanbad Railway Division media in-charge Nil Kamal Khawas said that both the posts of secretary had been vacant since December 10 after Netaji Subhash (Dhanbad Line Branch) and Somen Dutta (Dhanbad Branch-2) were elected organising secretary of the Central Committee.
The new secretary of Dhanbad Branch-2, RK Singh is posted as a train manager in Dhanbad and is considered an active union leader and plays a significant role in implementing programmes of the organisation.

Dhanbad Line Branch Secretary JK Saw is a senior section engineer in the carriage department posted at Dhanbad. He is considered a dedicated office bearer of the Union and a popular leader.
NK Khawas said that the union members had hailed the selection of RK Singh and JK Saw as secretaries of their respective branches and expressed hope that the problem of railway employees would be solved.
