Jharkhand News: Surprise inspection at Hazaribag Central Jail ahead of Assembly polls

Hazaribag, Oct 21: In light of the upcoming 2024 Assembly Elections, a special team from the district administration conducted a surprise inspection at the Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan Central Jail to strengthen security measures.

The inspection was carried out early this morning, where the security arrangements were thoroughly reviewed.

The operation was led by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), accompanied by eight magistrates and a force of 100 police personnel.

Various sections of the jail were inspected to ensure no objectionable activities took place during the election period.

This move by the district administration highlights its commitment to maintaining law and order during the election process.
