Team Visionary Guardians wins BIT Sindri's ‘Innovathon 2025’

Dhanbad, Jan 20: Team ‘Visionary Guardians’ from BIT Sindri emerged victorious at the 36-hour national hackathon, Innovathon 2025, organized by the Production and Industrial Engineering Department in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) 7.0.

The competition saw participation from 20 teams of engineering students across the country, each presenting unique solutions to societal challenges.

Runner-up and Special Awards

The first runners-up position was secured by Team MORPHX from BIT Sindri, while Team Innovators from Dumka Engineering College won the second runners-up award along with a cash prize.

Team Vision X from Ramgarh Engineering College received the Mentor’s Choice Award, and Team Techseat from BIT Sindri was honored with the Pure Girls Team Award.

The award distribution ceremony featured prominent figures, including SAIL Executive Director Sanjeev Kumar Singh, who shared his expert insights on the projects, and IIT ISM Dhanbad Texmin Hub Innovation Manager Rajan Das Gupta, who offered valuable suggestions and encouragement.

Tata Steel Area Manager Anmol Srivastava also motivated the participants with his words of encouragement and feedback.

Organizers and Acknowledgments

Managing Director M.G.S. Gopal Prasad Sah highlighted the importance of innovation in solving contemporary challenges.

BITSAANA President Divyanshu Raj encouraged participants to showcase their creativity.

Dr. Prakash Kumar, the convener of Innovathon 2025 and president of IIC 7.0, was praised for organizing the event successfully.

Special thanks were extended to BIT Sindri Director Prof. Pankaj Rai for his continuous support and encouragement.

Dr. Prakash Kumar emphasized that Innovathon 2025 was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of creativity and collaboration. He noted that the event inspired participants and set the stage for even greater innovation and engagement in future editions.

“Innovathon’25 was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the incredible potential of young innovators to make a significant impact on society. The event not only inspired the participants but also laid the foundation for future editions, which promise even greater innovation and involvement,” said Dr. Prakash Kumar.
