Dhanbad, March 28: Cyber police arrested three cyber fraudsters from Hazaribag who were operating from a rented house in the Barbadda police station area of Dhanbad. The trio was running an online scam, deceiving people under the pretense of providing escort services.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cyber), Sanjiv Kumar, revealed that the arrested individuals had set up an “Adult Platform” to lure victims and extort money online.

During interrogation, it was found that they had established a network in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and other cities, where their syndicate members would trap unsuspecting individuals into their fraudulent scheme.
