Jamshedpur, June 25: Toy Day in school is a valuable opportunity for holistic development, promoting both educational and emotional growth through playful learning.
Keeping this in mind Kerala Public School, Kadma today organised Toy Day on its campus.
Toys are important as no one ever forgets a toy that made him or her supremely happy as a child. A favourite toy is irreplaceable. Toys play a pivotal role by improving children’s imagination and the value of sharing.
“We need to nurture their creativity and imagination by giving them opportunities to play with toys that will make them love their childhood,” said Sharmila Mukherjee, the school principal.
She said that in an attempt to boost up the insight and visualization of tiny tots, the pre-primary segment celebrated Toy Day.

The classrooms and corridors vibrated with the voices of joy, enthusiasm, and innocence. Children brought their favourite toys, exhibited them before their friends and talked about them. Capturing their contentment in proudly presenting their toys was the major highlight of the day.
To accelerate the fun and exhilaration, the school conducted activities that would unleash their artistic and imaginative abilities.
LKG kids made puppets and UKG kids made beautiful toys using paper plates.
The headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar addressed the students by telling them about the importance of toys.mIt was such a colourful and happening day that everybody discovered the hidden child in them. The day realized that there is no age, time, or situation to play with toys. You make and play with them to find the child in you.
