TSAF cadets win 16 medals in National Youth Climbing Cup

Jamshedpur, August 20: Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) cadets excelled well winning a total of 16 medals during the National Youth Climbing Cup (Lead and Speed) held at Bengaluru on August 10-11.

The competition was held in three different categories – Youth A, Youth B, and Junior – Male and Female. More than 100 athletes participated in the competition.

A team of 21 athletes from various grass-root centres of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy participated. The competition was held in Yavanika Climbing Wall, Bengaluru, Karnataka and was organised by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation.

The athletes were accompanied by coaches from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy. Total 16 medals included 7 Gold, 3 Silver and 6 Bronze.
