Jamshedpur, April 6: XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s oldest and premier B-Schools, celebrated its 22nd graduation ceremony of Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) and Corporate Programmes at the Tata Auditorium here this evening.

The chief guest for the event was Rajeev Dubey, chairman of Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Mahindra First Choice Wheels, Mahindra Steel Service Centre and member of the governing body of ILO, Geneva.

Fr S George S.J. (Director of XLRI Jamshedpur), Prof. Sanjay Patro (Dean – Academics, XLRI), Prof. Manoj T Thomas (Associate Dean – Corporate Programs & VIL, XLRI) along with Rajeev Dubey inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.

In all 233 students of Virtual Interactive Learning Programs from the last 3 PGC batches were bestowed with certificates.

Rajeev Dubey shares mantra of Satya, Prem and Seva

The graduation address was delivered by Rajeev Dubey. He congratulated the students by saying, “Heartiest congratulations and salutations to all the graduating students. I am privileged and truly humbled to be standing in front of you all.”

He shared insights about creating tomorrow’s leaders.

He also shared his mantra of life i.e. Satya, Prem and Seva which can be defined as truth, compassion and spirit of service.

The graduating certificates were then handed over to the students by Fr S George SJ, Director, XLRI Jamshedpur and chief guest, Rajeev Dubey.

XLRI Director tells students to be fearless

Congratulating the graduating students, Fr S George S.J., Director, XLRI Jamshedpur said, “In today’s rapidly changing and increasingly interconnected world, the importance of continuous learning and adaptation cannot be overstated. I urge each one of you to remain curious, resilient, and open to new ideas and perspectives. Always remember that fear is a survival mechanism. Fearlessly face the world. If you face the reality, you shall become the change agent and this can be achieved by becoming fearless. On behalf of XLRI, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates. May your futures be filled with endless possibilities and boundless success.”

Prof. Manoj T Thomas (Associate Dean – Corporate Programs & VIL) said, “XLRI’s VIL & Corporate Programmes are designed to cater to the evolving needs of working professionals, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and capabilities while continuing to excel in their respective careers.”
