Jamshedpur, September 12: In a significant move towards promoting sustainability and energy literacy in the region, the CII Young Indians (Yi) Jamshedpur Chapter has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Energy Swaraj Foundation, led by Professor Chetan Singh Solanki.

Energy Literacy Training Program and Solar 101 Training Program

The agreement outlines a collaborative framework focused on spreading energy awareness through two major initiatives: the Energy Literacy Training Program and the Solar 101 Training Program.

The Energy Literacy Training Program aims to equip participants with essential knowledge about energy conservation, helping them understand the critical role of reducing energy consumption in combating climate change.

Meanwhile, the Solar 101 Training Program will provide practical, hands-on learning about solar energy, highlighting its applications and the significance of solar solutions for creating a sustainable future.

Aim to promote energy conservation

As part of this collaboration, both organizations will host workshops, awareness campaigns, and community-driven initiatives to promote energy conservation. The partnership reflects a shared vision of fostering greater environmental awareness and making the local community more energy-conscious.

Udit Agrawal, Chair of Yi Jamshedpur, highlighted the importance of this partnership, emphasizing that it will empower young individuals to take on leadership roles in energy conservation and sustainability efforts.

Professor Chetan Singh Solanki echoed the sentiment, noting that energy literacy is crucial in today’s world, and this initiative is a positive step toward building responsible energy citizens.

Through education and practical training, the partnership is expected to significantly contribute to local sustainability initiatives, paving the way for a greener and more informed community.
