Dhanbad, Nov 2: The Deoghar district administration is set to hold the ‘Paint My City’ event on Monday, November 4, aimed at encouraging and raising awareness among first-time voters to participate in the upcoming assembly elections.

The assembly elections in the Deoghar district are scheduled for the second phase on November 20.

Deoghar Deputy Commissioner (DC) cum District Returning Officer Vishal Sagar shared that several programs are being organized under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative to promote and encourage youth and first-time voters in achieving 100% polling.

“Under this ambitious awareness program, the ‘Paint My City’ event will be organized at Jalsar Park on November 4. Additionally, the city’s walls will be adorned with paintings based on tourism and mythological themes to attract voters,” said DC Vishal Sagar, who is personally overseeing the event to ensure its success.

He emphasized that the primary mission of this event is to instil the importance of voting in the minds of voters. Furthermore, individuals of various age groups who have an interest in painting have been invited to participate in this campaign, “Paint My City,” to achieve 100% voter turnout in the district.
