Jamshedpur, Nov 30: A 27-year-old youth who was a resident of Ramgarh was found lying dead at a lodge in Adityapur on Thursday.

Identified as Shubham Jaiswal, the deceased was a resident of the Badgaon area in Ramgarh and was a coal trader.

Came to attend marriage

Shubham had come to Adityapur along with his five friends to attend the marriage ceremony of one of his friends. They all had put up at a lodge, Hotel Subheksha, at Adityapur since Tuesday.

According to sources, Shubham was staying in room No 103 of the lodge whereas his friends were staying in other rooms.

Found senseless with foam in mouth

On Thursday early morning, two of the friends left the hotel having met the deceased, but when the remaining three wanted to check out sometime around 10 am, they knocked at the door of room No 103 to get no response.

Sources said the anxious friends then made the lodge management break open the door to find Shubham lying senseless on the bed with foam forming in his mouth. Soon the lodge management arranged an ambulance and rushed the youth to Tata Main Hospital where the doctors on emergency duty declared him as brought dead.

The anxious friends who were all around Shubham during the shocking incident immediately informed his family members in Ramgarh.

The bereaved parents are on their way to Jamshedpur after getting the information about their son’s death.

According to sources most of the friends had consumed liquor the night before going to bed.
