Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Tata Steel gifted two new state-of-the-art sports facilities, a Handball court and a Futsal court, to the iconic JRD Tata Sports Complex.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, along with other dignitaries.

The addition of these advanced sports courts is a testament to Tata Steel’s ongoing commitment to fostering India’s sporting ecosystem by providing world-class infrastructure for training and development.

Speaking at the event, Chaudhary emphasized Tata Steel’s dedication to nurturing talent and contributing to the country’s sports landscape.

With the inauguration of these facilities, Tata Steel continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of Indian sports and creating avenues for holistic wellness and growth within the community.

These facilities not only promote physical fitness and mental agility but also prepare individuals to face the challenges of life.

Facilities will be open after one week. New rates applicable for handball will be announced soon.

For the coming week, there will be promotional matches played between different divisions of Tata Steel.
