Jamshedpur, June 11: The 80th edition of the most popular and prestigious JSA (Jamshedpur Sporting Association) Football League began with great enthusiasm at the Tinplate Sports Complex, with a vibrant inauguration ceremony led by Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Working President & Chairman of the JSA Sub Committee, and Surendra Bahadur Singh, Chairman of the Referee Board – JFA.

The opening fixture of the A Division (Group A) featured a competitive encounter between Katin Football Club and Adivasi Development & Welfare Association.

In the opening match of the A Division, Group A fixture held at the Tinplate Sports Complex, Katin FC secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Adivasi Development & Welfare Association.
The decisive moment came in the 24th minute when Jagran Sabar found the back of the net, giving Katin FC the early lead which they held on to till the final whistle.
The match was officiated by Rani Ruhi Das, Amrit Dang, Chandmuni Biruli, and Prodipto Sarkar, who ensured smooth conduct of the tightly contested game.

The JSA Football League, now in its 80th year, continues to be a cornerstone of the city’s sporting calendar, fostering talent and promoting community engagement through football.
