Dhanbad, Jan 23: Five-member Jharkhand Thang-Ta team has been announced for the 6th Khela India National Youth Games to be held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, from January 28 to January 30.
Youth Games is being organized by the Government of India Youth and Sports Ministry and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) jointly.
Dilip Kumar, nodal officer of the Jharkhand Khelo India Youth Games has announced a five-member squad of the state Thang-Ta team for the championship.

Selected players
Indu Kumari (Palamu), Aiswarya Prasad, Pragati Priya, Saurav Bharti, and Saurav Rawani (all Dhanbad).
Coach and manager
Ranjit Kesri of IIT Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad has been appointed as coach of the state team while Sonamoti Kumari, physical instructor of Kasturba Residential School, Hisra, Palamu district, will be the manager.
Coach Ranjit Kesri said that better result is expected from the team as selected players have been provided 21-day special training at Doon Public School Dhanbad.
The team will leave for Tamil Nadu on January 25. Games would be played at Coimbatore PSG Medical College Hospital.
