Jamshedpur, August 7: Monsoon remains normal over Jharkhand, but multiple systems are triggering intensified rainfall and thunderstorm activity across the state.
Ranchi Met Centre today issued an advisory asking people to stay alert, especially in southern and north-eastern districts.

Monsoon trough passes through Ferozpur, Karnail, Moradabad, Kheri, Jalpaiguri upto Arunachal Pradesh foothills.
An upper air cyclonic circulation over central Bangladesh (5.8–7.6 km) is tilting southwestward with height.
A mid-level trough from NW Bihar to SE Bangladesh via northern Gangetic West Bengal (3.1–4.5 km).
