Jamshedpur, April 25: Heat wave conditions will continue to prevail over Jharkhand today.
Weathermen said extreme temperature is expected at a few isolated places today.
According to the forecast, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan division; Bokaro, Dhanbad districts of North Chhotanagpur division; Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Sahibganj districts of the Santhal division of the state today and on Friday.
On Saturday heat wave conditions are likely to occur at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan division; Bokaro, Dhanbad districts of North Chhotanagpur division; Deoghar, Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Sahibganj districts of Santhal division of the state.

On Sunday, April 28 heat wave conditions are likely to occur at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum,West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan division; Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad districts of North Chhotanagpur division;
Ranchi and Khunti districts of South Chhotanagpur division; Deoghar, Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Sahibganj districts of Santhal Pargana region.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. Weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain for the next three days.
Only north-westerly to westerly surface wind prevailed in the lower levels of the atmosphere over Jharkhand today.
