Jamshedpur, April 24: The worst is yet to come.

If the forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre is any indication, heat wave conditions would prevail at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts of the Kolhan region of the state today and tomorrow, April 25.

The heat wave will cover more areas on April 26, Friday.

According to the forecast, on Friday (April 26) heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts of Kolhan division; and Bokaro, Dhanbad districts of North Chhotanagpur division; and Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Sahibganj districts of Santhal division of the state.

The relentless heat wave condition would continue on Saturday (April 27), at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts of Kolhan division; and Bokaro, Dhanbad districts of North Chhotanagpur division; and Deoghar, Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Sahibganj districts of the Santhal division of the state.

Weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain in the next three days.

The predictions further indicated a gradual rise in day temperature by 3-5°C in the next 72 hours.
