Jamshedpur, Feb 15: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted clear weather and an abrupt fall in minimum temperature in most places across Jharkhand from today.
According to Met department officials, the weather would be dry and clear with fog and mist in the morning.
Weathermen said light rain is expected in isolated areas of eastern and central Jharkhand today.
A trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over central parts of Maharashtra and neighbourhood to northeast Uttar Pradesh across Madhya Pradesh at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region from February 17.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of around 14 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur, Daltonganj and Bokaro recorded a minimum temperature of around 17 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature witnessed a rising trend across the state during the past 24 hours with most places recording night readings between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius.
