Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Jharkhand’s weather would again take a turn, said weathermen today.
As per the Met bulletin, IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of rain in isolated areas of the state on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, January 31 light rain is expected at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state while on Thursday, February 1 light rain is likely to take place at isolated places over north-east, southern and adjoining central parts of the state.
Currently, jet stream winds of the order of 140-160 knots at 12.6 km above mean sea level is prevailing over north India.

A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from January 30 and another from February 3.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 27.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 6.1°C was recorded at Godda.
Statistics revealed that Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 11.7 degrees Celsius.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius.
