Jamshedpur, Dec 16: Isolated cold wave prevailed over Jharkhand today.

Statistics revealed that Lohardaga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius while Garhwa recorded 5 degrees Celsius.

Ramgarh today recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius while Hazaribagh recorded 6.6 degrees Celsius.

According to statistics, Daltonganj and Dhanbad today recorded minimum temperatures of  6.7 and 6.9 degrees Celsius respectively.

Both Ranchi and Jamshedpur today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.9 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 7.1 degrees Celsius.

Dense fog also prevailed at several places including Jamshedpur, Khunti and Ramgarh early in the morning today.

IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today issued an alert of shallow fog for the next 48 hours.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. According to the forecast, bright and dry weather conditions would prevail over the state in the next 2-3 days.
