Jamshedpur, Oct 1: A few isolated places across Jharkhand are expected to witness light rain today, predicted weathermen.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of light rain in isolated places today.
The weather would be dry and clear in most places. Satellite pictures suggested no adverse weather which might impact Jharkhand’s weather in the next few days.
The maximum temperature would witness a rising trend, said weathermen adding that it will also result in a rising discomfort index.
Meanwhile, the line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon continues to pass through Firozpur, Sirsa, Churu, Ajmer, Mount Abu, Deesa, Surendranagar and Junagarh.
Light rainfall was observed at isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours. Monsoon activity was weak over the state.
