Jamshedpur, March 21: Light rain is likely to occur at isolated places over north-eastern parts of Jharkhand today.
The trough from Jharkhand to south Assam was today running from northeast Madhya Pradesh to south Assam extending up to 1.5 km above the mean sea level with the embedded cyclonic circulation over east Bangladesh and its neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
The Western Disturbance over northern India was seen as a cyclonic circulation that lies over Jharkhand and the neighbourhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level with trough aloft runs from northeast Uttar Pradesh to east Vidarbha between 5.8 km and 12.6 km above the mean sea level.

However, the forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre suggested mainly clear sky and dry weather from tomorrow.
The forecast for March 23, Saturday also indicated mainly clear sky and dry weather.
Meanwhile, the rainfall activity during the past two days resulted in an abrupt fall in minimum temperature at several places across the state.
