Jamshedpur, March 12: If the maximum temperature across various districts in the past 24 hours is any indication, Jharkhand is heading for the worst summer this year.
Met statistics revealed that the maximum temperature has touched 35 degrees Celsius at several places including Bokaro, Pakur and Kolhan region.
Bokaro recorded a maximum temperature of 35.1 degrees Celsius while Pakur recorded 35.3 degrees.

Jamshedpur in the Kolhan region recorded 35 degrees Celsius while Chaibasa in the West Singhbhum district recorded close to 35 degrees.
Meanwhile, no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand and the Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted clear and dry weather in the next 48 hours.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect northwest India from tonight, said weathermen.
