Jamshedpur, April 3: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert for heat wave in Jharkhand for three days from tomorrow, Thursday.
This is the first time this summer a heat wave alert was issued.
Notably, the maximum temperature has already reached 41 degrees Celsius in Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas in Kolhan.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was around 40 degrees Celsius in Bokaro, Godda and several other places.
Weathermen said there will be no significant change in maximum temperature during the next two days, thereafter gradual rise by 2-3°C in the subsequent three days will occur.

Mainly clear sky and dry weather are expected to prevail over the state in the next three days.
The forecast, however, suggests, light rainfall at isolated places over northern parts of the state on April 6, Saturday.
Tomorrow, April 4 heat wave conditions are likely to occur at isolated places over south-eastern parts of the state.
On Friday, April 5 heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places over eastern parts of the state.
On Saturday, April 6 heat wave conditions are likely to occur at isolated places over eastern parts of the state.
On Saturday, thunderstorms and lightning may occur at isolated places over northern parts of the state.
