Jamshedpur, Dec 26: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of light rain in isolated places across Jharkhand this weekend.
According to the forecast, a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain is likely at isolated places over western and adjoining northern parts of the state on Saturday, December 28.
On Sunday ie., December 29 partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain is likely at isolated places over south-western parts of the state.
The Western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and neighbourhood today lies over Haryana at 3.1 Km above mean sea level.
The induced cyclonic circulation over northwest Madhya Pradesh and its neighbourhood at 1.5 Km above mean sea level persists.
The minimum temperature witnessed a rising trend in the past 24 hours.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 16.6 degrees.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 13.8 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 13.5 degrees.
The minimum temperature in almost all districts was 3-4 degrees Celsius above normal.
