Ranchi, Nov 14: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed large election rallies in Giridih, Gandey, and Dumri, where he strongly criticized the INDI Alliance. He stated that the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance views the state as an “ATM,” but once an NDA government is formed, development work will take place here.
Shah alleged that the Hemant government is focused on settling infiltrators rather than implementing central schemes. However, he assured that with a “double-engine” government in Jharkhand, the pace of development would accelerate.
Naxals counting their last days: Shah
The Union Home Minister said that Jharkhand had long struggled with Naxalism, which severely impacted people’s lives. Naxalism left no stone unturned in devastating Jharkhand, but with the arrival of the Modi government, a strong crackdown on Naxals began.

He stated, “In our 10 years of governance, we have worked to free the region from Naxalism. Whether in Chhattisgarh or Jharkhand, Naxals are now counting their final days.”
Shah said that the first phase of voting has taken place here, with the people of Jharkhand casting their votes for 43 seats. “I can tell you the results right now,” Shah stated from the stage, adding humorously, “Since you’re asking, I’ll leak the paper for you. In the first phase, JMM has been completely wiped out, and the BJP government is coming in with a strong majority.”
Shah vows to protect tribal lands
He said that infiltrators come to Jharkhand, marry young girls, and seize their land. “Elect a government led by the lotus symbol, and not even a bird will dare to set foot here. No infiltrator will be able to enter. We will bring a law requiring those who have taken land from tribals to return it. If they do not comply easily, we will take strict measures to ensure justice,” Shah said.
