Jamshedpur, August 14: Kaleidoscope 2025— an inter-school competition — concluded with a cultural programme at the Fasy Auditorium of Loyola School, Bistupur.

The event served as an impressive platform to bring out the hidden talents of students from Classes 1 to 5, who participated.

This year’s central theme, “Bookworms”, aimed to remind children of the magic of books in an age dominated by mobile phones, computers, and other electronic gadgets.

Organisers sought to reconnect young minds with the world of books, encourage reading habits, and spark curiosity for knowledge.

The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp in the presence of chief guest Dr Pinky Midha, former Vice-Principal of Loyola Junior Section; Reverend Father Rector Michael T. Raj; Principal Father Vinod Fernandes; others and alumni of the school.

Father Rector Michael T. Raj offered prayers for the event’s success and addressed the gathering. The inauguration also featured a prayer song and a dance performance.

More than 500 participants from 24 schools competed across seven engaging events.

The closing ceremony featured an address by Father Rector, song and dance presentations, and the results. Principal Father Vinod Fernandes emphasised the need to cultivate reading habits among children and encouraged them to explore writing novels, poems, and stories.
