Kapil Raj appointed Additional Director at GST Intelligence HQ

Ranchi, April 5: The central government has appointed Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Kapil Raj as Additional Director at the GST Intelligence Headquarters.

Earlier, he was posted as Additional Director at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi.

Kapil Raj was also given additional charge of the Jharkhand Regional Enforcement Directorate (ED) earlier.

During his tenure with additional charge in Jharkhand, he investigated and arrested politicians and administrative officials in money laundering cases.

In December 2024, his services were withdrawn from the Enforcement Directorate, and he was sent back to his parent department.

He is expected to take charge of his new post within a day or two.
