Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Several parts of Jharkhand recorded light to moderate rainfall in the past 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre, Ranchi said on Monday.

- Kanke (Ranchi): 19.2 mm
- Ranchi MC: 9.6 mm
- Bokaro: 6.2 mm
- Daltonganj: 3.6 mm
- Jamshedpur: 1.4 mm
According to IMD, a trough extending from Gangetic West Bengal to north coastal Andhra Pradesh across Odisha, at about 0.9 km above mean sea level, is influencing weather conditions over Jharkhand.

- Highest maximum temperature: 34.8°C at Chaibasa
- Lowest minimum temperature: 12.0°C at Gumla
