Washim, Oct 5: PM Modi offered prayers at the Jagdamba Mata Temple in Poharadevi in the Washim district of Maharashtra. He played the traditional drum. The Prime Minister interacted with the local residents and discussed the significance of the temple.
After performing prayers at the temple, he paid homage at the samadhis of Sewalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj. In this context, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Banjara Heritage Museum in Washim.
PM Modi initiated agricultural and livestock-related schemes amounting to approximately ₹23,300 crores in Washim.
18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi released
In a public rally held in Washim, PM Modi stated that the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi has been released today. He mentioned that ₹20,000 crores have been distributed to 9.5 crore people and expressed that he was honored to award the beneficiaries, particularly the young sisters.

“In the holy time of Navratri, I have just got the opportunity to release the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. More than Rs 20 thousand crore have been transferred today into the accounts of 9.5 crore farmers of the country”, he said.
PM accuses Congress of being ruled by urban Naxals and linked to drug trade
While addressing a public rally in Washim, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the Congress party is ruled by a group of urban Naxals and called on citizens to unite against the perilous agenda of the party.
He also made a pointed remark about the Congress party, emphasizing its alleged ties to a large drug syndicate associated with the former chairman of the RTI Cell of the Delhi Pradesh Congress.
The Prime Minister highlighted a recent investigation into an international drug syndicate, stating that Delhi police indicated the mastermind of the ₹5,600 crore cocaine shipment allegedly had affiliations with the Congress party.
“Drugs worth thousands of crores of rupees were seized in Delhi recently. A Congress leader is suspected to be the kingpin. Congress wants to contest elections from the money it gets by pushing the youth towards drugs,” he said.
