Ranchi, June 18: In a significant administrative shake-up, the Jharkhand government has undertaken a large-scale transfer and posting of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. A total of 56 officers have been affected in this reshuffle, which includes new postings, transfers, and the assignment of additional responsibilities.

Below are some of the key appointments and changes:

Amitabh Kaushal has been appointed Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department and given the additional charge of Secretary, Excise and Prohibition Department.

Rajesh Kumar Sharma will now serve as Secretary of the Disaster Management Division, with the additional responsibility of Civil Defence Commissioner.
