Ranchi, June 18: In a significant administrative shake-up, the Jharkhand government has undertaken a large-scale transfer and posting of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. A total of 56 officers have been affected in this reshuffle, which includes new postings, transfers, and the assignment of additional responsibilities.

Below are some of the key appointments and changes:

  • Amitabh Kaushal has been appointed Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department and given the additional charge of Secretary, Excise and Prohibition Department.

  • Rajesh Kumar Sharma will now serve as Secretary of the Disaster Management Division, with the additional responsibility of Civil Defence Commissioner.

  • Arwa Rajkamal takes on several significant roles, including:

    • Secretary, Building Construction Department

    • Managing Director, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Ltd

    • Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan

    • Secretary, Mines and Geology Department

    • Secretary, Industries Department

    • Chairman, Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd

    • Additional Charge, Mines Commissioner

  • A. Dodde, previously awaiting posting, has been appointed Special Secretary, Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department, and given the additional charge of Director, Land Acquisition, Land Records and Measurement.

  • Rajeshwari B, formerly Special Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and appointed as Director, Panchayati Raj.

This sweeping reshuffle is expected to bring fresh administrative momentum across departments and streamline governance functions.
