Jamshedpur, Feb 11: The minimum temperature witnessed a rise across Jharkhand with several places notching three to four degrees Celsius above normal today.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 14.4 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 13.8 degrees and Bokaro Steel City notched 11.6 degrees.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.5 degrees Celsius while Deoghar recorded 11.6 and Garhwa 10.5 degrees.

Gumla today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 9.1 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature shot up to 16.3 degrees Celsius at Baharagora in East Singhbhum and 14.6 degrees at Lohardaga.
IMD Ranchi’s statistics reveal an upward trend in minimum temperature across all districts of Jharkhand today.
According to weathermen, the rising trend in minimum temperature will continue for the next 48 hours or so.
Meanwhile, the Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over North Afghanistan between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean sea level persists. An induced cyclonic circulation also persists over southwest Rajasthan at 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.
