Ranchi, May 31: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy today sent a ‘chargesheet’ with evidence against Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta, to the Enforcement Directorate Director and demanded that the latter be investigated for money laundering and disproportionate assets.
“Through the 10 points mentioned in the chargesheet, the Health Minister’s corrupt conduct has caused a huge loss to the government treasury,” he said.

What are the charges?
Roy, a crusader against corruption, has said irregularities in the purchase of equipment required for ambulances and hospitals, unauthorized transfer of doctors, civil surgeons and other senior medical officers, and reinstatement of consultants who provide free assistance in collusion with hospitals covered under the Ayushman Yojana, etc. are mentioned in the chargesheet sent to the Enforcement Directorate.
He said that if the Enforcement Directorate investigates these allegations, a lot of illegal money will be revealed and irregularities in the Health Department under the Ayushman Yojana will come to light.
