‘Naman’ to take out Shaheed Samman cum Tiranga Yatra in Jamshedpur on March 23

Jamshedpur, March 21: Steel City will witness a grand “Shaheed Samman Yatra cum Tiranga Yatra” to be organised by Naman, a philanthropic outfit on March 23, Sunday.

This will be the 10th year of the event organised with much enthusiasm and patriotism.

The yatra will come out from Agrico Transport ground at 9.55 am, which will traverse through  the Police Line, Bhalubasa, Sakchi, Basant Cinema, Kalimati Road via RD Tata Chowk, paying tribute to the immortal sacrifices in the Police Line.

Naman’s founder president Amarpreet Singh Kale while addressing newsmen here today said that Naman is dedicated to keep the dreams of the martyrs and honor the national flag and the pride of the immortal sacrifices of the freedom struggle.

“Through this platform, we make every effort to maintain love, brotherhood and harmony in the society. This institution has been formed inspired by non-political and non-communal spirit, in which every section of the society including doctors businessmen, journalists, ex-servicemen service councils, editors, laborers and various religious and social institutions etc participate. During the journey, a chariot of Maa Bharti will move ahead. Apart from this, there will be four tableaux in which live tableaux related to sacrifices will be presented. Separate teams have been formed and they gave been given responsibilities for the smooth and successful conduct of the event,” said Kale, who is also the state BJP spokesperson.

Kale said it has become a tradition to take out this journey on the martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on March 23 every year.

He appealed the people, youth, social organizations, religious institutions, all senior citizens and intellectuals to attend in large numbers at the Tiranga Yatra and make the event a success.
