Mumbai, Oct 5: Sachin Kurmi, a leader of the NCP’s Ajit Pawar faction, was killed last night in Mumbai’s Byculla area.
Mumbai Police reported that NCP leader Sachin Kurmi, affiliated with the Ajit Pawar faction, was fatally attacked last night by unknown assailants wielding a sharp-edged weapon behind the MHADA colony in the Byculla area. A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway.

According to Mumbai Police, the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Upon receiving information about the attack, police promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured Sachin Kurmi to the nearby JJ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors after examination. The police subsequently took possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem.
According to police, it is still uncertain who attacked Sachin Kurmi, although they believe that 2 to 3 people were involved in the assault.
