Ranchi, January 9: The Department of Women, Child Development and Social Security has started the online application process for the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana from the current financial year, enabling eligible adolescent girls to apply digitally through their schools.

Launched in 2022–23 by the Jharkhand government, the scheme aims to promote the education and empowerment of adolescent girls by providing financial support to help them continue their studies.

Rs 40,000 incentive for Classes 8 to 12

Under the scheme, eligible girls studying from Class 8 to Class 12 receive a phased financial incentive of Rs 40,000, ensuring continuity in education and reducing financial constraints.
