Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, Panchayat follows Abhishek Tripathi (played by Jitendra Kumar), an engineering graduate who takes up the role of panchayat secretary in a remote Uttar Pradesh village due to a lack of better job opportunities.

The show, produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), has resonated strongly with audiences since its debut in April 2020, leading to a second season in 2022 and a critically acclaimed third installment last year.
