Male, July 25: After concluding his visit to the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Malé, the capital of the Maldives, on Friday morning, where he received a grand welcome from President Mohamed Muizzu, who hugged the Prime Minister upon his arrival.
The entire Maldivian Cabinet, including the Foreign Minister, Defence Minister, Finance Minister, and Minister of Home Security, was present at the airport for the occasion.

PM Modi is visiting Malé as the chief guest on the occasion of the Maldives’ 60th Independence Day celebrations, following an invitation from President Mohamed Muizzu.

Earlier, the Prime Minister completed a successful visit to the UK, where he met King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
