PM Modi distributes appointment letters to over 71,000 new recruits

New Delhi, Dec 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits via video conferencing.

PM Modi conveyed his best wishes to the new recruits while addressing the occasion.

He highlighted that maximizing the potential and talent of India’s youth is the government’s foremost priority.

The Prime Minister highlighted the government’s efforts through the Rozgar Mela initiative to harness the potential of India’s youth. He noted that over the past decade, various government ministries, departments, and institutions have been actively working to provide government jobs. Emphasizing the scale of the initiative, he shared that more than 71,000 young individuals received appointments during the event today.

Additionally, he pointed out that in the past 1.5 years alone, the government has offered permanent positions to nearly 10 lakh youth, marking a significant achievement.

The Prime Minister also stated that a country’s progress is driven by the strength and leadership of its youth.

Prime Minister Modi emphasized that everyone has committed to building a developed India by 2047. He expressed strong belief in this vision, noting that the nation’s youth are at the core of every policy and decision.

He highlighted several key initiatives from the past decade, including Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Startup India, Standup India, and Digital India, all of which were designed with a focus on empowering the youth.

He also pointed out that India has reformed its policies in the space sector and bolstered manufacturing in the defense sector, with the youth being the primary beneficiaries of these changes.
