Sangareddy, March 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday unveiled a number of development projects in Sangareddy, Telangana, valued at Rs 7,200 crore.
The projects encompass various vital sectors including transportation (road and rail) as well as the petroleum and natural gas industries.
MMTS train service
The first MMTS train service between Ghatkesar and Lingampalli, via Moula Ali and Sanathnagar, was inaugurated by the prime minister. With this train service, the prevalent suburban rail service in the twin city zones of Hyderabad and Secunderabad is now available in new locations.
Indian Oil product pipeline
The Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline was also formally inaugurated by the prime minister.
The product pipeline, spanning 1212 kilometres and capable of transporting 4.5 MMTPA, passes through Odisha (329 km), Andhra Pradesh (723 km), and Telangana (160 km).

CARO Hyderabad
The Prime Minister officially inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) centre located in Hyderabad.
The Airports Authority of India established it at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad with the goal of modernizing and advancing research and development (R&D) initiatives in the civil aviation field.
Three National Highway projects
The Prime Minister also inaugurated three National Highway projects and laid the foundation stone for them. Among these, two National Highway projects include the development of the 40-kilometre-long Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161, which will now have four lanes.
Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated the enhancement of the Miryalaguda to the Kodad Section of NH-167, stretching over 47 kilometres, to a configuration of two lanes with paved shoulders.
Moreover, the Prime Minister initiated the construction of the six-lane expansion of the Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65, spanning 29 kilometres. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity to significant industrial hubs in Telangana, such as the Pashamylaram industrial area near Patancheru.
