New Delhi, May 14: President Droupadi Murmu was formally briefed on Operation Sindoor by the top leadership of the Indian Armed Forces during a courtesy meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.

She lauded the courage and dedication of the forces, calling India’s counter-terrorism response a remarkable success.

Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan led the delegation, accompanied by General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff; Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff; and Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan later shared details of the meeting on social media, noting that the Armed Forces’ leadership had updated the President on the execution and outcomes of Operation Sindoor.
“General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, along with General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, and Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, called on President Droupadi Murmu and briefed her about Operation Sindoor. The President commended the valour and the dedication of the Armed Forces that made India’s response to terrorism a sterling success,” Rashtrapati Bhavan posted on ‘X’
