New Delhi, Dec 25: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and other dignitaries honoured former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary by offering floral tributes at the ‘Sadaiv Atal’ memorial in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Namita Kaul Bhattacharya, Vajpayee’s foster daughter, also attended the tribute ceremony.
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar reflected on the nation’s pride in having Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a leader and reaffirmed the commitment to carrying forward his ideals.

Union Minister Anupriya Patel, on behalf of the Apna Dal party, honored former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary and acknowledged his work as a guiding influence for the current government.
Former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma praised Atal Bihari Vajpayee for earning global respect through his impactful work. He also noted that many of the initiatives implemented today, such as the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana and the Ghar Ghar Yojana, were originally conceived by Vajpayee and continue to inspire Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi expressed that Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was always steadfast, earned respect from people across all walks of life, with his legacy being fondly remembered by all.
