New Delhi, Sept 27: Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has embarked on a tour of four South American nations, focusing on diplomacy, education, and business engagement.
During his visit, he is set to meet presidents and senior political figures, reinforcing democratic ties and strategic partnerships, the Congress party said.

In Brazil and Colombia, Gandhi will interact with university students, while discussions with business leaders aim to explore new trade opportunities amid India’s efforts to diversify partnerships following US tariffs.

Congress’ media head Pawan Khera confirmed the trip on X, without specifying the duration of Gandhi’s overseas visit.
