Ranchi, April 4: Following the Election Commission’s order, Rakesh Ranjan has been posted as Deoghar SP. Ranjan has replaced Ajit Peter Dungdung, who was removed by the EC after a complaint lodged by BJP candidate Nishikant Dubey was found to be genuine.

Besides three other IPS officers have also been posted on the instructions of the Election Commission. 

Vijaya Lakshmi is Dumka IG

A Vijaya Lakshmi has been made Dumka zonal IG; YS Ramesh has been made Palamu DIG, and Sumit Kumar Aggarwal has been made the Ranchi Rural SP. 

Notably, on April 2, the Election Commission instructed to fill the posts of Dumka IG, Palamu DIG, Deoghar SP, and Ranchi Rural SP. A panel was also sought to fill all these posts.
