Ranchi, April 27: The Special (ED) court here today refused to grant interim bail to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accused of money laundering through land scam. After the court order, Hemant Soren will not be able to attend his uncle’s funeral.

In fact, on Saturday, he had filed a petition in the court requesting that he be allowed to attend his uncle’s funeral. Along with this, he had also sought interim bail of 13 days from the court.
Notably, on Saturday morning, Raja Ram Soren, elder brother of JMM supremo Shibu Soren (Guru ji), died while fighting an illness. Rajaram Soren lived in Ranchi only.
