RIMS doctor to head Jharkhand Medical Students Network

Dhanbad, August 22: Dr. Vikash Kumar from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, has been appointed as the President of the Medical Students Network (MSN) Jharkhand chapter.

Dr Raghvendra Rathore of MGMMCH Jamshedpur has been nominated as Secretary whereas Dr. Sushil Kumar Singh from Dhanbad has been named Chairman of the committee.

In addition, Dr. Thakur Siddhant Arjun and Dr. Aman Kumar Singh have been appointed as the state body’s general secretary and convener, respectively, while Dr. Joga Govardhan Ashish has been nominated as a National Council member. The advisory committee for MSN Jharkhand includes IMA State President Dr. AK Singh, Secretary Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, and Finance Secretary Dr. BP Kashyap.

According to a senior official from the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the MSN has been established under the directive of the IMA national body to support medical students across the state. Each medical college has also been instructed to form its own MSN committee at the college level.

Key office bearers of Jharkhand MSN

Other key office bearers of the MSN Jharkhand chapter include Co-conveners Dr. Sushant Kumar and Dr. Mayank Kumar Singh, along with Joint Secretaries Dr. Shubham Sagar and Dr. Anushri Baral. The Executive Members are Dr. Swati Srivastav, Dr. Pratik Ranjan, Dr. Paridha Singh, Dr. Riddhi Singh, Dr. Shruti Gupta, Dr. Akanksha Patnayak, Dr. Niketa Sinha, Dr. Piyush Choudhary, Dr. Shubham Kumar, Dr. Anjani Thaneer, Dr. Raju Kumar Roy, Dr. Parul Sri, Dr. Anand Raj, Dr. Writwik Rudra, Dr. Simran Kumari, Dr. Chandrika, Dr. Anjilina Kerketta, Dr. Aryan Gupta, Dr. Shivam Sinha, Dr. Raja Babu, Dr. Naveed Ahmed Mir, and Dr. Shirupa Bandopadhyay.

SNMMCH Dhanbad forms MSN committee

In line with the state chapter’s direction, the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad has also formed its MSN committee. Dr. CS Suman shared that Dr. Shivam Sinha and Dr. Aryan Gupta have been appointed as Convener and General Secretary, respectively, with Dr. Shubham Tantubai serving as the State Council Member.

Additional office bearers for the SNMMCH MSN committee include Co-conveners Dr. Mayank Kumar Singh and Dr. Sejal Das, Joint Secretaries Dr. Chandani Kumari, Dr. Kumar Kanisk, and Dr. Shriti Panwar. The Executive Members are Dr. Akshat Choudhary, Pallavi Singh, Dr. Hariom Pandey, Dr. Saloni Singh, Dr. Sadab Alam, Dr. Kaithi Kaveri Lakra, Dr. Rahul Kumar, and Dr. Monika Soren.
