Raghopur, Oct 15: RJD leader and Bihar Legislative Assembly Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday officially filed his nomination from the Raghopur constituency ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, Tejashwi’s parents, were present to support him during the filing.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha submitted his nomination from Lakhisarai, accompanied by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

The 243-seat Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled in two phases, on November 6 and November 11, with the counting of votes set for November 14.

While the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has finalized the seat-sharing arrangement among its constituent parties, the Mahagathbandhan is still deliberating on a mutually agreeable formula. Meetings between the alliance partners are ongoing to finalize the distribution of seats for the polls.
